HR Recruit have another HR Advisor Vacancy for a Central London based client which is being handled by our Greater London team

Our client, a professional services organisation in central London, are recruiting for a HR Advisor/HR Officer. A stand-alone role, you will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with all areas of the business and all offices, providing HR advice and guiding senior managers in all areas of employment law and current practices. This includes keeping Partners abreast of HR law and regulation, developing procedures and processes to help ensure the effective employment of staff in line with the Partnership’s needs and objectives, ensuring efficient administrate support in a number of ancillary areas and providing HR advice and support to Partners line managers.

Key responsibilities

Assist in recruiting key staff, developing job descriptions, shortlisting applicants and interviewing
To prepare offer letters and contracts of employment for all new employees and arrange induction programmes.
To identify training needs and manage appraisals for all employees and conduct training in liaison with line managers
To maintain and update all personnel records
To advise on and participate in grievances and disciplinary hearings and to prepare all associated documentation
To be the main point of contact with the payroll agency to ensure accurate and up to date information is provided
Responsible for all foreign travel Visas and liaison with Visa agents.
Maintain personnel files – ensuring correct documents are held, checking passport/visa dates etc.
Applying for Sponsorship Licence through UKBA
Issuing Certificates of Sponsorship to migrant workers

Person Specification

Degree, CIPD qualified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – dealing with senior managers
Creative thinker and ability to work on own initiative
The ideal candidate will be expected to conduct a large proportion of HR Administration duties. Only candidates who have had professional services experience will be considered e.g. Law or Accountancy Practice or Architects

This role will suit a HR Advisor or HR Officer or HR Manager. In return, candidates will receive a salary of between 35-45K depending on experience.
