£45,000-£50,000 (FTE)
Will consider 3, 4 or 5 days
Office based role (1 day WFH after probation)
40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR professional for a stand alone HR role in our expanding healthcare SME. Reporting directly into the Managing Director this is a fantastic opportunity to help drive the HR agenda.
HR Advisor Responsibilities
- Providing advice in areas such as pay, promotion, and reward.
- Administering employee records such as payroll and sickness absence.
- Initial advice in ER issues.
- Review and renewal of all HR Policies and procedures
- Helping to develop policies in areas such as performance management and absence management and making sure that they are implemented.
- Managing and/or supporting recruitment related activities and other HR processes
- Provide 1st Line HR Support for all employees.
- Monitoring the performance and attendance of employees.
- To carry out HR project work as required
- Managing effective onboarding policies and plans.
- Administration of employee handbooks.
- Provide advice and support to line managers and employees regarding any change in employment legislation.
- To manage the disciplinary and grievance procedures: advising managers, supporting investigations
- To manage data contained in the HR system, ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
- Establishing clear performance metrics aligned with organisations goals, providing regular feedback, and fostering an environment of accountability and growth.
- Maintaining open communication channels, addressing concerns promptly, and promoting a positive workplace atmosphere that reflects organisations dedication to both patients and staff.
- Advising the management team and employees about employment law and its implementation.
- Planning training.
HR Advisor Requirements
- CIPD qualified or equivalent
- Working understanding of UK Employment Law
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience with recruitment and ATS/HRIS systems
In return you will receive a salary of £45,000-£50,000 plus statutory benefits.
