HR Recruit have another Part-Time HR Administrator vacancy for a London based client handled by our South East team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR individual to pursue their HR career. Our client is a small non-profit organisation in the charity sector and is based in Central London. They are seeking an experienced part time HR Administrator for 21 hours per week for a 9 month contract. The hours are flexible over the week. This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to develop their career in HR as there is opportunity to get involved in HR projects and at times be the HR representative.
The main duties are as follows:
To implement and operate effective and confidential administrative systems (paper and electronic) to support the effective management of human resources.
To keep accurate and up to date records on staff.
To produce detailed statistical reports for managers, SMG, Trustees and Committees
To operate the self-service system for annual leave, sickness and TOIL. To ensure attendance is correctly entered and monitored as appropriate.
To advise recruiting managers on recruitment processes and methods
To undertake all new entrant paperwork including the completion of checklists, taking up references, corresponding with applicants and agencies
To keep training records up to date on the HR files and database.
To undertake the necessary payroll preparation paperwork
To provide administration to the pension scheme and liaise with benefit providers
To communicate and promote HR policies and procedures across the organisation by being the first point of contact.
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 years previous HR experience and have an understanding of current HR employment law, practices and procedures. They must be able organised, have attention to detail, be able to work on their own initiative and be flexible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised candidate with a can-do attitude who wants to develop a career in HR. In return, a salary of £28.500-£33,000 (pro rata) will be rewarded.
