HR Recruit have another Senior HR Advisor job vacancy for a York based client handled by our Yorkshire team.

My client is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is based at their Head Office in York, working within the service sector and is offered with a salary of £30-33,000 dependent on experience. The national company is currently experiencing a period of growth and will be looking to expand the HR team further in the next 12 months; potentially providing development opportunities for the right candidate.
The Role:
The role will be the first point of contact for all HR queries and will complete the following duties:

Support and advise Area Managers and Site Managers to prepare paperwork for all Employee Relations issues from start to completion.
Support and attend complex Employee Relations meetings.
Prepare, finalise and distribute HR related correspondence.
Deal with TUPE information and assist with consultation meetings.
Check off new starter documents; including monitoring eligibility to work in the UK.
Support maternity, paternity, absence and sickness procedures.
Maintain HR personnel files.

The Person will:

Have experience and a strong background of dealing with employee relations issues.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a thorough up to date knowledge of employment law.
Have the ability to work to deadlines and juggle a varied and busy workload.
Be able to work independently.
Have the ability to occasionally travel to sites across the country to attend hearings and meetings.
Ideally have experience of preparing/supporting preliminary paperwork (ET3) for potential employment litigation cases.

The role would suit an Employee Relations Advisor, A HR Advisor looking for a new challenge or a HR Generalist.
Salary £30,000 – £33,000 based on experience
