HR Recruit have another Part-time HR Director vacancy for a London based client handled by our South East team.

Our client, a not for profit organisation based in Central London is recruiting an experienced Part-Time Head of HR for 2 days or 15 hours per week. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you will support the strategy and business plan by providing strategic HR direction and operational HR support across the organisation.

Role responsibilities

To lead on driving the implementation of the people and culture enabler in the strategy.

Plan, develop and implement an HR Strategy that supports the overall business plan
Develop policies and procedures that link in with and support the lifecycle of an employee from recruitment, training, retention and exit
Manage and control HR expenditure including staff training and development within agreed budget
Coach and influence leaders in dealing with all key people management and development issues
Produce HR related KPI’s that support the impact of the organisation and track performance
Develop practical solutions for talent spotting and succession planning, reviewing external factors that can be of benefit to the organisation
Maintain compliance with employment law and legislation
Deliver ad-hoc organisation led HR projects

Person specification

CIPD or Degree in HR management
At least 7 years in generalist HR role
Strong generalist HR Experience including training and development
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative work style
Strong clear communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others
Sound commercial awareness and drive for results
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Experience of coaching and developing others for high performance
In return for either 2 days or 15 hours you will receive a salary of 55K pro rata.
