HR Recruit have another Part-time HR Manager vacancy for a Stockport based client handled by our North West team.

Our client, a manufacturing organisation in Stockport is looking to recruit an experienced Part-Time HR Manager for 20-24 hours a week for a stand-alone role. The hours would be ideally worked over 4 or 5 days. The role is accountable for a small site and reports directly into the Managing Director. The aim of the role is to provide a professional and timely administration and support service to employees and work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a single point of contact and guidance for managers and employees relating to HR queries and issues.
Assist the business on managing employees by providing guidance to line managers and employees on performance management process and related issues.
Coach and train managers on company policies and procedures.
Drive employee engagement initiatives.
Recruitment: Managing the recruitment process for local site
Performance appraisals: Administer the annual salary and performance reviews to ensure effectiveness and compliance for salaried and hourly paid staff. Provide guidance and support to managers during the process.
Training and development: Promote continuous training and development throughout the company to increase productivity, performance and employee engagement.
Employee Relations: Provide advice and support to managers when dealing with complex, sensitive employee relations issues and cases

Person Specification

At least 3 years working as a Senior HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Business Partner
CIPD qualified or equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing organisation would be an advantage
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to use your own initiative

This role will suit an experienced HR Advisor looking for their next step or an experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partner. The holidays are 20 + bank holidays (pro rata) and increase by 1 day per year to a maximum of 25 + BH. In return you will receive a salary of between 55-60K pro rata.
