HR Recruit have another HR specialist job vacancy for a Manchester based client handled by our North West team.
I am seeking a Senior HR Specialist with a good knowledge of Payroll and Benefits for a 7-9 month maternity cover. The role is full time and offers a salary circa 45-50k working within the manufacturing sector and is based at Trafford park.
The main role responsibilities are:
Business partner with the team in Manchester, providing advice and guidance and driving HR initiatives in support of the business strategy.
Ensure sufficient knowledge of tax and legal requirements associated with running all payrolls to be able to make informed decisions, provide guidance and challenge as appropriate.
Manage third party relationships and service level agreements with external payroll bureaus and internal Finance Department ensuring they continue to meet required standards.
Provide advice and guidance to the HR Manager on administering the UK and India payrolls and year-end reporting. Provide final monthly check prior to authorisation.
Support the HR Manager on the salary planning and variable compensation processes.
Support the HR Manager on recruiting and training related activities.
The ideal candidate will:
Be CIPD Qualified or equivalent
Have strong payroll and benefits experience
at least 5 years experience working in a senior HR Role
Be comfortable working within a fast paced blue collar environment.
