I am delighted to be working with my Client on a permanent full time HR Manager opportunity offering a generous salary circa 50-55k based on experience. My client is a well-established manufacturing organisation based close to Accrington and is seeking an experienced HR Manager to complement their team. The role is a newly established standalone position to support the organisation in a generalist HR capacity.
Key Responsibilities
To provide full generalist support including Disciplinary, Grievance and Attendance management
Develop, review and update HR policies, procedures and contracts according to changes in legislation
Support the recruitment, new starter, onboarding and leaver processes
Train and empower the management team in HR best practice
Act as an advisor to management on staffing, employee relations, talent management, performance management, policy development
Take responsibility for Personnel data according to GDPR guidelines and provide accurate HR Reporting
The ideal candidate will ideally possess:
At least 5 years previous HR experience
A level 7 CIPD qualification (ideally MCIPD) or significant HR experience
Enthusiasm and a drive to succeed
Resilience and flexiblity
Experience of working in a stand-alone role
Experience of working within a blue collar environment
The working hours are 8-5 with 1 hour for lunch, although flexibility on start and finish time will be considered. The role may also require infrequent travel to other sites in the UK.
