HR Recruit has another HR Manager vacancy for an Ormskirk based client handled by our North West team.
My client is leading organisation in a niche field and the role is based near Ormskirk in Lancashire. The role is offered on a full time fixed term contract and offers a salary up to 50k plus benefits (based on experience). The role is a stand alone role and supports approx 160 staff based within 4 sites across the North of England and Ireland and therefore weekly travel and the occasional over night stay will be required. Whilst the role is standalone in the North, there is support from the wider HR team who are based in Gloucestershire including Administrative support.
The role covers the full generalist HR role and includes some elements of HR business partnering
Main function of post:
To support the Head of People to develop, implement and maintain the framework within which the organisation attracts, employs and engages with its contracted and casual workforce primarily by providing professional advice and support to line managers within a designated area of responsibility and by developing policies, practices and employment initiatives as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following
Ideally be immediately available
An ability to travel to 1 site per week to provide a business partnering level of support to centre managers and line managers (hire car provided)
Have a minimum of 3 years HR advisory experience
The ability to network and influence managers to adopt HR best practice.
A positive attitude to support the HR team to continue to develop policies and procedures and support the implementation of the People plan.
