HR Recruit have another HR Business Partner job vacancy for a London based client handled by our South East team.
Our client, in the educational sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner based in Basildon, Essex. This is a permanent role and will assist in all Human Resources activities and take the lead when requested and ensure that all policies, employment law legislation and best practice are adhered to.
To provide client facing support, administration and advice on all current HRD operational matters to all levels of personnel, with varied issues and situations, in a professional, confident and credible manner.
To support implementation of the strategic plan.
Support in undertaking probation reviews and appraisals on a timely basis.
Recruiting staff – this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;
Provisions of guidance on initiatives such as restructure and redundancy
Assist in the maintenance of the Human Resources database
Assist in audit and Ofsted preparation.
Dealing with incoming calls and enquiries; making phone calls as required.
Undertake Safer Recruitment training with client groups.
Employee relations including the undertaking of investigations and hearings.
Undertake staff induction.
Undertake administrative tasks where appropriate.
Candidates must be CIPD qualified or possess a relevant HR qualification
Be robust and commercially focused
You will also be to be able to hit the ground running and work at a pace.
The ideal candidate will need to have their own transport as you will be required to travel to another site once/twice a week. It will also be necessary to carry out supplementary evening/day and or weekend duties as required on an ad-hoc basis. This role would suit an experienced HR Advisor or HR Manager. You will receive a salary of upto £40,000 per annum plus benefits
