HR Recruit have another Part-time HR Director vacancy for a St Albans based client handled by our South East team.
Our client, a professional services firm is looking to recruit a Part-Time HR Director based in St Albans. This is an exciting role for an expanding and progressive business. You will work closely with all areas of the business, providing HR advice and guiding senior managers in all areas of employment law and current practices.
The main responsibilities for the role are as follows:
Draft and implement HR strategy working alongside Partners and department heads in line with the Firm’s business plan.
Mange HR team and ensure best HR practice and compliance with HR procedures and policies.
Advise and oversee investigations and complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, capability and redundancy procedures.
Responsibility for recruitment and training. Evaluate and make recommendations on training
Responsibility for appraisal process.
Responsibility for staff welfare and health and safety.
The ideal candidate must:
Have previous of experience of working at a similar senior level.
Be CIPD qualified or a similar HR qualification
Ability to manage employees and staff at all levels.
Significant experience as HR generalist and experience in all areas of HR and employee relations.
Detailed knowledge of UK employment legislation.
Experienced in creating and implementing HR strategy.
Previous experience of working within a professional services business would be a distinct advantage.
This role will suit an experienced HR Director, HR Manager or Head of HR. The client is looking to pay £70-75K pro rata.
