HR Recruit has another HR & Payroll Manager vacancy for a Manchester based client handled by our North West team.
Our client, an expanding business in the manufacturing sector are looking to recruit an experienced HR & Payroll advisor for their business in Accrington, Lancashire. A HR generalist, this is a stand-alone role and would suit an experienced HR Advisor or HR Officer.
Main responsibilities are:
Prepare HR documentation e.g. offer letters, staff handbook etc.
Manage the disciplinary process.
Manage the absence monitoring process.
Regularly review documentation to ensure compliant with current legislation.
Keep up to date with current legislation including apprentice levy, working time directive, employment of overseas nationals, holiday pay etc.
Prepare and processes the 80 weekly payroll.
Prepare and post the payroll journal.
Prepare end of year returns for HMRC and employees.
Deal and process all HMRC queries
Deals with pension scheme enquiries.
Prepare weekly reports
Define the recruitment process, issuing job descriptions and liaising with agencies
Manage the new apprentice levy scheme.
Other ad-hoc duties
You will need at least 3 years proven HR and payroll experience.
In return you will receive a salary of between 30-35K, the option of flexible/reduced working hours and a pension.
