HR Recruit are recruiting another Head of HR vacancy for a Laindon, Essex client handled by our South East team.
HR Recruit have an exciting Head of Human Resources Opportunity for our client based in Laindon, Essex. Based in the logistics sector, this newly created role will report into the MD.
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist the Directors with the Industrial Relations of the company, including participation in all meetings with Shop Stewards and Unite.
Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
Manage company Pension Schemes and relationship with the Pension Advisors
Manage TUPE situations both incoming and outgoing
Manage the Human Resources Department and Payroll functions
Implement HR strategy within the organisation working alongside business leaders
Lead and develop the HR team
Overall responsibility of the recruitment process
Requirements
CIPD qualified with at least 3 years’ experience in a senior HR role
Ability to influence at all levels and experience of managing a team
Strong track-record in HR generalist and change management roles
Commercial acumen and credibility
Faultless communication and interpersonal skills
Thorough working knowledge of UK employment legislation
Transport / Logistics Sector experience an advantage
This role would suit an experienced Head of HR or a HR Manager looking for their next move. In return you will receive a salary of between 50-55K + car and benefits.
