HR Recruit have another HR Director Vacancy for a Harlow based client which is being handled by our South East team
Our client, a financial services organisation is looking to recruit a HR Director for their base in Harlow, Essex. Reporting directly into the CEO, the HR Director will be accountable for a team and for driving the people agenda and supporting the business change initiatives by working collaboratively across all business functions.
Responsibilities
- Implement people strategy within the organisation working alongside business leaders
- Lead and develop the HR team
- Establish our employer brand
- Work closely with business leaders and line management providing expert guidance on a variety of people matters
- Develop effective HR procedures and policies to reflect business aims and focus
- Advise on compliance and risk management issues
- Work within and apply key business drivers to people management strategies
- Ensure that managers and staff are fully aware of HR policies
- Introduce and drive change management initiatives
- Overall responsibility of the recruitment process
- Oversee investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
- Implement effective training, learning and development programmes
Person Specification
- Extensive experience +10 years in a senior HR role
- Ability to influence at all levels
- Strong track-record in HR generalist and change management roles
- Commercial acumen and credibility
- Extensive experience of managing a team and supporting peers deliver their aims
- Thorough working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- A strong interest in culture and values
- Able to work flexibly across multi-locations, driving our ‘one team stronger together’ ethos
This role would suit an experienced HR Manager looking for their next move or a Head of HR or HR Director. In return you will receive a salary of between £70,000-£80,000 (depending on experience) plus car allowance and bonus.
