HR Recruit have another HR Manager Vacancy for a York based client which is being handled by our Yorkshire team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Human Resources professional to join a group of organisations in the industrial sector for a minimum 6 month contract based in York. This is a newly created, stand-alone role and you will report to the Group Director. This post will act as the focal point for bringing together and coordinating with HR managers in the Partner businesses.
Key activities will involve:
Establishing working relationships with the group Management Team
Influencing and developing an agreed HR strategy for the group
Resources planning and organisation design
Recruitment, selection and induction processes
Developing Succession Plans and appropriate interventions
Management of disciplinary, grievance and capability cases
Diversity and Inclusion
Learning and Development
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrable working experience in an industrial business
Be comfortable working in a standalone role
A flexible / proactive – can do attitude
Good understanding of employment law and its application in the workplace
MCIPD qualification as a minimum
Excellent organisational ability, interpersonal and literacy skills
Proficient in MS office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
You will need to be immediately available from Mid October if not sooner.
There is the possibility that the role could become permanent. In return, you will receive a rate of between £200-300 per day.
