HR Recruit have another HR Manager Vacancy for a Cambridge based client which is being handled by our South East team
An exciting opportunity has arisen in an expanding technology company for a HR Manager based near Cambridge. Already an experienced HR Manager, HR Advisor or HRBP, you will work with the Group HR Director delivering strategic and operational HR projects, ensuring that their cultural and growth plans are achieved and be a key member the global HR team. There is opportunity for the ideal candidate to work internationally so experience in an international environment is a must.
Key responsibilities
Recruitment life cycle (job descriptions, candidate attraction and selection, employment contract, induction, probation)
Employee relations – disciplinary, grievances, redundancies, re-structure, integration, exit interviews
Preparation and analysis of metrics for monthly Board reports, quarterly business reviews and strategy meetings
Maintain and develop HRIS
Work in collaboration with other HR Managers to communicate monthly employee micro survey results and circulate monthly company newsletter
Preparation of monthly UK payroll
Annual renewal of UK benefits
Drive global annual salary review process, remuneration statements and 6-monthly bonus review
Identifying training needs and sourcing /delivering training solutions
Update UK and US company policies and handbook
UK Health and Safety
Be involved in several UK and international projects
Person Specification
Significant experience in a hands-on HR management role
Some experience of working in a global and matrix organisation
Good experience in change management and company integrations
Good degree of commercial awareness, innovative thinker
Confident with data and analysing information
Able to think and act strategically
Able to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines
Can act on own initiative. Does not always rely on others to come up with solutions or new ideas.
Confident under pressure and when being challenged
Excellent organisational, coaching and mentoring skills
CIPD qualified
Background in and/ or knowledge of the technology industry sector, in particular IPTV and Cloud Services
The role is based North of Cambridge so you will need a car to drive to the location. The role will suit an ambitious HR professional as there is scope to grow in the role. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate international experience. In return, you will receive a salary of between 40-48K (depending on experience)+ benefits and bonus
