HR Recruit have another HR Advisor Vacancy for a Northampton based client which is being handled by our South East team.
Our client in the education sector is looking for an experienced HR Advisor/BP to join its HR team in Northampton. The role is initially a 6-month fixed term contract to start towards the end January 2019. This is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate to further progress their HR career. The role does require some travel so to be considered for this position you will have the ability to travel as and when required.
Provide HR/ER support on staff disciplinary, capability, grievances, sickness review meetings, attendance management, probation review and any other meetings (escalating more complex issues to the HR Business Partner/HR Consultant).
Support the HR Business Partner/HR Consultant on more complex employee relations casework, as required.
Educate and coach line managers and provide all-round generalist HR advice in accordance with employment legislation.
Manage all recruitment vacancies.
Assist in compiling job descriptions, person specifications and recruitment adverts.
Sit in on interview panels.
Ensure completion of appropriate employment and vetting checks.
Prepare and issue employment offers, contracts of employment and contract amendments.
Provide support for the appraisal process.
Ensure all new staff and existing staff have the relevant mandatory training.
Updating HR policies and procedures.
Administration /record keeping relating to all employees.
Take part in Performance Management Procedures
You will have previous experience of working in a HR generalist role, including all aspects of ER and recruitment, and have ability to build strong relationships and work positively under pressure. In return you will receive a salary of up to 28K plus benefits.
