HR Recruit have another HR Manager Vacancy for a Leeds based client which is being handled by our West Yorkshire team
My client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organisation based on the outskirts of Leeds are seeking a commercially focused HR Manager to lead their HR function and partner the business to deliver HR best practice.
The role reports into the Finance Director and is a new HR role established to develop their existing HR department. You will be working closely with managers throughout the organisation and will be responsible for all aspects of HR.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Managing the day to day HR function.
Developing line managers capability by providing advice and guidance on HR policy and procedures.
Managing investigations and complex employee relation issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements.
Line Manage and coach the HR coordinator.
Oversee the recruitment processes, payroll administration, appraisals, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
Regularly review HR policies, updating where necessary to ensure they effectively meet the needs of the business and comply with external regulations
Research, design, and project manage the implementation of HR-related projects to meet both individual and organisational objectives
Applicants should possess the following skills and experience:
Experience of delivering both Project based and operational HR
Experience in coaching and supporting line managers in HR matters
Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent
